  • Hey there my friends in e-land if I have any.  Just out of curiosity I was wondering how many friends I have that read my xanga updates.  Please give me an e-prop or a comment so I know.  Here is my poem of the day.

    A token of Respect

    Shoulder to shoulder they work
    for eachother and for all.
Through wind rain and snow they answer the call.
    Their very lives entrusted
    to their brothers who care.
    Knowing if they fall
at least one will be there.
A breed apart from others these men who fight fire.
    A calling to which many
    would love to aspire.
    But they as firemen
    know all too well
    that in a moment's time
    their lives can be hell.
    A soft spongy roof
    or room full of smoke
    it takes only one breath
    and you start to choke
    They do their job willingly
    ask little more than respect
    often picking up the peices
    of lives that are wrecked.
Their calling is to be there
    Where ever the need
    A very noble calling
of the men of this breed
    Many have fallen
    and have given their all
    Trying to save another
    they took the fall.
    Truly these men are heroes
    for having paid the price
    And making for another
    the supreme sacrifice.
    So if in your travels
    A fireman you see
    Please remember he's there
    to save you and me.

So you all know I only search online for these poems.  They are not written by me and I do not know the writers.  If I do write something I will let it be well known

  • Ok so I am having trouble spelling.  A friend (Sarah) pointed out to me that I wrote Endland.  I meant to say England.  I'm sorry Sarah.  LOL
  • Ok so yeah I know that I have not been able to update my Xanga in like forever.  So here it is. So what have I been up to?  I have been very busy.  I have been working at Radioshack in the Coventry Mall.  It is great and I love it.  There is a great group of co-workers there and I love working with them.  It is fun.  I have been trying to help out some friends in as many ways as possible.  So yeah I love it.

So what else is on my mind?

Oh my is Sarah Niglio actually going to Endland on Sunday to help out at a camp.  Yes!!  I will miss talking to her so much!

Please join me in keeping Sarah in my prayers and yours that this is a great life-changing experience for her and that she blesses the heck out of those kids.

Ok yeah I'm going to Creation in like a week and a half.  Yes!!  I am so exciting I know that it will be a amazing experience as it has been in the past.

I have been thinking about girls lately and I currently am single.  It is depressing thinking about that ONE women in my life that I would love to spend my life catoring to.

OK so yeah here is my poem or good thought of the week that I am going to try to make at least once a week.

    The Firefighter's Creed

    Scramble

When I'm called to duty god
    wherever flames may rage
give me strength to save a life
    whatever be its age

Help me to embrace a little child
    before it is too late
or save an older person from
    the horror of that fate

    Enable me to be alert
    to hear the weakest shout
    and quickly and efficiently
    to put the fire out

I want to fill my calling and
to give the best in me
    to guard my neighbour and
    protect his property

And if according to your will
I have to lose my life
    bless with your protecting hand
    my children and my wife.

  • Well guys I know that it has been a great while since I have logged.  I miss you all.  Well here is the update.  I have a major prayer request.  Please pray for my mother.  She is in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center's Critical Care Unit.  At 5:30 pm last night my mom was having trouble breating.  She called her doctors office and the nurse practitionor told her to go to the hospital.  I called the ambulance.  When they got here we had to have her walk to the door because of space issues.  We got her out and my dad just got back from the store so he went down to the hospital with her while I made those calls to the people she knows to let them know what was up.  My brother came home from York, PA and stayed down there for the night with my mom.  He has been in and out of the hospital and my house today.  When I went down to see my mom I found out that she had some fluid in her lungs which almost led to congestive heart failure.  It was very hard to see her in the condition that she was in.  It was the most painful feeling I have ever had.  The doctor told my brother that she was probably going to have the tubes taken out tomorrow so that is good news. She will hopefully going to be put in a regular room tomorrow.  Tomorrow is her 50th birthday so I feel bad for her.  Please pray for her and keep praying fervantly.  Thank you very much.  I will keep updating you as I can.
